FCA Students Visit Memphis Zoo

Students from Faith Christian Academy in Water Valley, Mississippi, visited the Memphis Zoo on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Led by their teacher, Mrs. Grace Kerr, the students spent the day touring the zoo. Students participating in the day-long event included: (front row) Megan Stone, Brooke Norwood, Lindsey Allen, Christian Allen, Nathan Stone, and Grafton Muirhead; (back row) Briana Norwood, Miriam Hill, Samantha Allred, and Matthew Loflin.

Also accompanying the group were Dr. & Mrs. Bob Hill, who also serve in the school ministry, and several parents with their pre-school aged children. Those parents attending were: Mrs. Joann Allred, Mr. & Mrs. Chris Allen, and Mrs. Jessica Norword.

Everyone enjoyed the seal show at the zoo's Northwest Passage exhibit, which was followed by a picnic lunch. Weather on the day provided a clear blue sky and a temperature which hovered right at 72 degrees, which made the day ideal for a school field trip.
