New Testament Survey Certificates Awarded

During the August 16, 2009, Sunday Morning Service at Faith Baptist Church in Water Valley, Mississippi, six members were recognized for successfully completing a summer course entitled "Survey of the New Testament." Class instructor, Daniel Hill presented certificates of completion to Pat McMahen, Charles Phillips, Cliff Phillips, Jr., Gladys Phillips, Rhonda Palmertree, and Scott Palmertree.

The Survey of the New Testament class covered a thirteen week period across the summer months. Daniel Hill, a junior at Crown College of the Bible in Powell, Tennessee, taught the course each Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those enrolled in the class developed a notebook which covered all of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament.

Faith Baptist Church is located at 1300 Eckford Street in Water Valley, Mississippi, one block East of Central Street. The church is the home of Faith Christian Academy (Grade Levels 1-12) which is currently in its thirty-first consecutive year in serving the greater Water Valley - Oxford area.
